Also does running help lose weight in the tummy area and thigh area. I need advice. currently 5′5, 156 pounds age 27.. Had a baby a year ago and trying to get by into shape.

In the gym i also do various weight things (hah) with my legs, stomach arms and back muscles etc. also cross trainer and stepper thing. oh a bike sometimes. is this the correct way to be loosing weight?

I’m dieting and plan on running at least 3 or 4 times a week for an hour each time but dont know if it will help me lose weight where i need to… (the gut area)

Say person A runs a mile everyday for a month at 3pm in 90 degree weather with 90% humity.
Person B runs a mile everyday for a month at 11pm when it is 75 degrees with 30% humity.
Would person A lose MORE weight than person B? or would they lose the same? or what?

I am running about 2 miles per day with the intent of losing weight. I put on a sweatshirt to sweat more–does this actually help, or would I lose the same amount of weight just wearing a t-shirt, and in theory, sweating less. Thanks

Really tryin to get past this platue after losing nearly 50 lbs. Going to run 4 miles 5 times a week. Dont know how many calories to eat really so im going to aim for 1800. Is there a way that i wouldnt lose weight doing this? Is this too little calories? Or too much? [...]

I run 2 or 3 times a week, on an off. I normally do about 1 hour’s run, which is about 5 miles. But I’d like to lose some weight over the next 4 weeks. Would increasing my run to 6 times a week help?
And how much weight can I lose in 4 weeks?

I don’t want to go crazy trying to lose weight and running more than I should ,and eating nothing. etc etc.
Don’t get me wrong, I really want to change my life style of eating/ exercising healthy. But i don’t want to go overboard and result in plateauing and burning-out .
