Is Running For 30 Mins 4/5 Days A Week A Good Way To Lose Weight?

In the gym i also do various weight things (hah) with my legs, stomach arms and back muscles etc. also cross trainer and stepper thing. oh a bike sometimes. is this the correct way to be loosing weight?
