How Much Weight Will I Lose On A 5 Day Water Fast?

Hi, I’m 5′3 and 200 pounds. I’ve recently been trying to eat healthy and work out in order to lose weight. I’ve heard water fasts can rid toxins from your body. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and had success? Also how much weight did you lose? Thanks!

    It depends on how much you do during the 5 days. If work to your maximum potential we are looking at around 20 pounds

    Don’t do it – there was a woman tried it back in the summer. She lasted a couple of days before all the water had stripped her of necessary salts etc and she had an epileptic fit and as a result has suffered permanent brain damage.
    If you want to detox safely, go raw for a few days instead – that way you still detox, but you’re also still eating healthily.

    Ive heard that it isn’t good for any diet its eat 3 meals a day and do 30/60 mins a day of exercise.
    Eat fruit and veg because they’ll fill you up and drink 2 litres of water a day thats a safe way to loose weight.

    Please don’t fast!!!!! It really screws with one’s matabolism. Your body will start eating it’s fat (weird huh?) since it gets no nutrients. You will not get the required veggies and fruits, so your skin and bones will go “funky.”
