What Is The Best Diet For Losing Alot Of Weight?

When I say alot of weight, I’m saying more than 100 lbs, also I’m not looking for quick fixes, I expect not to lose more than 2 lbs a week at the most, I just want to know if anyone knows of diets that are fairly simple with little to know calorie counting and stuff.

I don’t believe in the whole thing that you can eat whatever you want as long as you exercise, that is a crock. It all comes down to what you put in your mouth, your body. If you want to lose around 100 lbs, you will definitely lose more than 2 lbs in the first week, even month if you eat healthy, wholesome foods. I am talking about whole grain, produce, veggies (try raw), some fruits, and very minimal amounts of protein. Opt for only 4oz. of meat a day. You do not have to count calories b/c all of these foods have such low calories, eat as much as you like, and don’t load these great foods with fat which counteracts the whole idea. The more your body has to work to digest these foods, the more you lose. So think high-quality, simple foods that are in their original state, not processed. The more processed, the more those calories will turn into fat. To make it not so strict, allow yourself 10% of your daily food to be something you enjoy to keep you going, mine is a glass or two of wine, okay maybe 4, but it seems to help, good luck to you and don’t go out to eat!

I’m on a mission to stop perfectly smart and wonderful people from using the non-existent word “alot.” Please put a space in there because it’s two words. It would really mean “a lot” to grammar freaks like me who cringe when they see it spelled incorrectly.

The Trim Advantage system is the best plan I know of.
This kit delivers, with complete support for your first 30 days on the Trim Body System Protein Plus Diet. The kit includes a binder to hold the print materials, which include the Quick Start Guide, a 12-page booklet that introduces you to the plan. It also includes Meal Plan Cards that step you through every meal for 30 days, including shopping tips, meal preparation, supplements, and recipes. Eighteen detailed, full-colour Recipe Cards show you how to fix simple, healthy meals, fast. And a week’s worth of 10-minute exercises are described on the Fitness Cards, so you can take your exercise plan with you, wherever you go.
In the kit is a 2-DVD set that features a physician discussing the health effects of being overweight, a fitness expert who introduces you to and coaches you through all the exercises in the 4-3-2-1 Body Training System, and an introduction to the Protein Plus Diet. The kit also includes Nutrilite and Mekiwin weight-loss support supplements and protein powder and Trim Advantage protein bars and meal replacement shake mix.
The Trim Body System is designed to encourage the kinds of changes in lifestyle that may result in lifelong weight loss. Medical authorities recommend a weight loss of no more than 2-3 pounds a week to reduce the health risks associated with more rapid weight loss.
*The Protein Plus Diet was developed by The Better Life InstituteTM and approved by the Nutrilite Health Institute.

Look no further. South Beach Diet. Very simple, very effective and fast. For the first 2 weeks, eat no carbs, no sugars, period, and you will lose 10 to 12 pounds. This means you can eat all the meat, nuts, eggs, cheese, olive oil, and veggies (except carrots) you want. The point is that you can eat good fats because it is not fats that make you fat, it’s SUGAR of any kind. So, no breads, rice, pasta, etc, and no fruit, no alcohol, for 2 weeks, and then you can add some back in gradually, the low glycemic index fruits like apples. You know what fruit is the worst? Watermelon!
    I’m 5′7″ (almost) and I went from 154 to 116, in a few months.
    Best wishes!

starvation – but thats not really a good idea – you need to eat sensibly and exercise. start with a walking routine then introduce some weights. a good cardio routine mixed with some weights is your best bet. when you use weights you are building muscle and burning off fat. good luck. I didn’t have 100lbs to lose but this worked for me after my babies were born – I’m down to my last 5 lbs. You just need a goal and be comitted tp it.

Eat 6 small but balanced meals per day. Your carbs should be high in fiber and your proteins should be lean. Fats should be sparing but concentrated in the omega 3’s and omega 6’s. Avoid greasy foods, alcohol, and candy.
Lift weights or perform power yoga because either of these will slightly increase your lean mass, which will burn extra calories 24 hours per day. This will increase your resting metabolic rate. Also, some cardio helps.
Use a measuring tape instead of a scale to measure your progress because it is more accurate than the scale.
