What Are Some Good Diets For Losing Weight?

I’m 5′11 and 192 pounds and I work out 3 – 4 times a week and play lots of basketball and skateboard and swim at the beach a lot. But me and my friends used to sit around at night and eat un-healthy foods at like midnight like pizza and potato chips and sodas etc….
And soon I noticed I was getting a little chubby! Mostly around chest, mid-section and thighs….
So I just stopped eating at night about a week ago and now I want to know what are good foods to eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner ???
Now I am eating 2 eggs, toast, oranges and juice or cereal for breakfast.
A turkey/ham sandwich for lunch with lettuce and VERY little mayo. or grilled chicken salad or something like that.
Dinner I usually eat fish or chicken dishes. Never fried always boiled baked or grilled.
But still I weigh the same!
I stopped drinking sodas, only water and tea now.
If I eat at night its maybe a few crackers or apples and oranges..
Am I doing something wrong? I think I get plenty of exercise and eat pretty good but I haven’t even lost .1 of a pound!
Any help would be appreciated thankssssssssss

The reality after reading all the other answers is fad diets don’t work. They may take off weight immediately but the weight is put back on and usually more. The way to loose weight is to take in less calories than you expend. Expend through exercise as well as the energy it takes just to run your body everyday.
It sounds as if you are off to a good start so give yourself credit for that. The first thing I might say is watch your portion control. Most people have a very bad view of what a proper portoin is. People eat those lean cusine meals, or weight watchers, healthy choice and think this is not alot of food. But these are actully proper portions, so you may want to buy a couple of these to understand what a proper portion is. You may have cut out some of the junk food, but are eating larger portions which is more calories. A safe amoutn of weight to loose is 1-2 pounds a week, so I am not sure what the time line of the .1 loss is. There are about 3500 calories in a pound of fat, so if you think about how much you have to restrict your self of food or increase your exercise to have a deficet of 3500 calories anymore than 1-2 lbs a week is not just unsafe, but unreasonable if you want to make changes that will last a lifetime. As you are working out you should also know that muscle weighs more than fat – so if strength training is part of your workout routine and you have put on some muscle you will weigh more on the scale. This is why the scale is not always the best judgement – the way your cloths fit or actual measurements with a tape measure is actually a better measure. Muscle takes up less room but weighs more, so if you put on muscle and take off fat simultaneously you will actually get smaller but the scale may not change.
If you are looking for a program that will help you the most successful program for people and not just for taking off the weight but for maintaining the weight loss after 5 years is weight watchers. I am not working for wieght watchers I must add. I have just lost 27lbs using weight watchers. They not only have the group thing, but they have the online version, which is what I use. It cost about $15 a month.
I hope that this helps a little bit,
    Good Luch

When you wake up, roll your *** out of bed and do 20 minutes of high-intensity-interval-training (HIIT). Helped me get past a plateau. Read the article.
Don’t eat egg yokes, they’re high in cholesterol.. it’s not even healthy cholesterol. Don’t eat the toast, instead eat 1/4 cup of DRY oatmeal.
In my opinion, the trick to weight loss is high fiber, high protein & lots of water. I’ve.. lost… 27 lbs since December 9th.. (Currently 184, 5′6″, 19 y/o male)

Drink lots and lots of water and avoid salt in your food. This will help you lose water weight (which is betwem 2-10 pounds).
It could be the bread you’re eating, bread has a high glycemic index and causes build up of cellulite and fat. Aviod white bread and cereal, instead eat oats, brown bread or bran. While you need carbs to burn for your daily activities (or else you will be tired and sleepy all the time),keep carbs to a minimum, and dont eat any at dinner.
Aviod caffeine, that contributes to weight as well. drink decaf tea, or grren tea.
    good luck.

Negative Calorie Foods

The phrase, "negative calorie food", as highlighted in negative calorie diet programs and books, usually refers to foods that allegedly require more energy to digest than they contain. Since the process of digestion requires the use of calories for energy, sometimes the net amount of metabolizable energy available from a food is less than the gross number of calories contained in the food.
