How Can I Run On A College Cross Country Team Without Losing Any Weight And Continuing To Gain Muscle?

I lift weights and run 5 miles a day and am able to steadily gain weight despite the running, but I’m worried that I’ll lose weight if I join the cross country team. How can I avoid this?
