I’ve Been On A Diet And Exercising For 5 Days To Lose Weight…?
and im trying very hard
i don’t eat any sweets, no junk food and i eat 1,200 calories a day.
Plus i have soccer practice 5 days a week for two hours which is pretty much just a lot of running.
How come i have lost barley 1 pound yet.
I have 2 months to do this and im really hoping to lose a bit.

If ur not drinking a lot of calories,
THEN
you may be eating too little so your body is holding on to all your fat.
ALSO if ur body doesnt have much weight to sacrifice you will lose weight slow. For instance an obese person can lose like 30 pounds in a week or two.
You may only be able to lose like 3 the most

I do wish that I had more information than just this, because it is important to know how tall you are, what your starting weight is, and how many pounds you want to lose. But even without that information I can tell you that If I understood your question correctly, and you have only been doing this for 5 days, then one pound is great!
To lose a pound you have to burn about 3500 extra calories than you are consuming, so most people are really only able to lose about 1-2 pounds per week. You also have to look at other factors such as if you are retaining water (are you drinking enough water?). I also suggest that you be careful with how many calories you are consuming, consuming too few can actually hurt your overall weight loss efforts. If you post more information perhaps I can have a more specific answer for you!
You can’t expect to magically lose weight over a ridiculously short period of time. Things like this take effort and normally several months to get a really noticeable difference. Stick at it if you want to lose weight.

You need to have a 2,000 calorie diet so your body has enough energy to function. If not, your body will hold on to fat instead of burning.
