What Is A Good Diet For Losing Weight, Gaining Muscle, And Gaining Energy For Working Out?

I kinda have an idea but I would like some other opinions. Im leaving for boot camp on June 26th and I want to be in tip top shape when I go so I dont fall behind. It seems like I have a long time but I really dont. Any input would be appreciated. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?…

Boot Camp huh? First of all, thanks for serving our Country. Well, I just got out of the US Army on August 20th, 2007. Spent 4 years in the military and one of those years I spent in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, so I know what I’m talking about. You’re very smart to get into shape now. I did the same thing you’re doing and I still got my butt kicked in Basic. But then again, I didn’t have as much prep time as you and I didn’t have a workout program. I didn’t really know what I was getting into. I was in the MEPS Program so I would go down to the MEPS station where I was recruited and I would learn about the Army with other recruites. We would even do PT Test, marching and cadence. I will never forget the first time I got “smoked” at the MEPS station. I nearly passed out and I almost threw up! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend you get a workout program and diet program and stick to it! Run Run Run! I don’t know what branch of the service you’re going into but when I was in Basic and even in the regular Army, all I did was run and PT. Plus Ruck Marches will suck very very much. Lol. I recommend, no I order you to check out this website and educate yourself and try to find a diet and workout program that will prepare you for Boot Camp. But for real, you are doing the best thing because you’ll be ahead of everyone else and the Drill Sergeants will notice that. That way, they’ll put you in Leadership positions and you’ll have a good head start when you get out of Basic. Good luck to you! And if you have to go Downrange….keep your head down and your enemy in your sights!http://www.perfecthealthandfitness.com

You need to eat protein with every meal along with fresh fruits and vegetables. Don’t drink any soda or junk food. Lift weights three times a week and drink protein powder after your workouts. This will help build muscle. Good Luck……
