How Can I Continue To Run Without Losing Weight?

I’m 5′1 and I weigh 94 lbs (no I’m not anorexic, I’m very petite). I began running for better health and increased energy and stress reduction. I love it, and would like to continue, but I don’t want to lose any more weight. Any suggestions? Would a protein shake in the morning help? I only run 2.5 miles, about 4 times per week.

No matter what, if you run for a prolonged period of time, you’ll lose muscle mass in your legs. You should try doing some sprints along with your regular routine.

Just make sure your eating some carbs as they do contribute to energy. And protein to help build your muscles.

Eat more. Match your caloric intake with your caloric output.
