Help Losing Weight – Drugs/diets?

Ok so I’m 19, I weight 110kgs – about 220 lbs and I’m about 5′4, I was recently in hospital for a previous lung disorder and since I was discharged I’ve tried to lose weight but the doctors have put me on prednisolone (steroid that makes you put on weight) So I’m also having trouble with that, not the fact that it works the fact that I want to lose weight but I’m on drugs that are making me put on weight. My question is what kind of diet would you suggest for me? I have no problems getting to a gym or going for a walk/ride or whatever and I have no problems with the healthy food ( I actually prefer eating that to fish & chips/mcdonalds/kfc etc) Help would be greatly appreciated

Drink plenty of water. Walking and doing housework is the best exercise for losing fat and ensure that your diet does not include any high calorie foods. Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. From http://myweight.info

4 to 5 small meals/snacks daily under 1100 calories, work out daily 30-60 min. 60-90 if you really want to shed the pounds. Look up information on metabolism and female hormones. Women have harder times losing weight so dont listen to what has worked for a guy. Eat only clear dressings on your salads and try and change salad with spinich. Cottage cheese when you feel the hunger. And make sure your drinking alot of water and no soda pop. Drugs would not be my #1 choice, I would recomend surgery before any kinds of weight loss drugs.

don’t take any pills and dont diet, make lifestyle changes, start small like instead of drinking soda drink water, eat a healthy breaskfast everyday, eat fruits as snacks, ect. and also use this free website for motivation and tools to track your progress.

    Hi,
I’ve tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don’t work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That’s why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.getgoinfo.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 5.49$ shipping and handling.
    Good luck!

Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. Brisk walking is great for burning body fats.
It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.
Details such as my experience, meals, snacks, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog

Well, you’ve got a good attitude and that’s 3/4 of the battle of the bulge. Let me show you what worked for me. No long winded speeches, no fad diet nonsense here just follow this plan an you’ll be set i promise. Eat what you like. Just keep it to1200 calories a day (healthier is better obviously) and sweat and I mean SWEAT!! for 30-40 minutes a day 6-7 days a week. Remember the more you sweat the more you can add to your eating plan. Write down everything you eat with calorie content. This will give you an overall look at where you need to make changes. Don’t eat after 6 pm ever. Don’t cheat, you’re only fooling yourself and don’t skip workouts. You should be losing about between 2-3 pounds a week, which is a healthy rate without starving yourself. This is not a “diet” it’s a healthy lifestyle choice. If you stick to it your weight won’t be an issue for you. Once you reach a good weight you can up your calories to 1500 or even 1800 and cut the exercise to 4 to 5 times a week to maintain..Good luck!
