Losing Weight/running?

I use to be a great runner when I was in elementry school. I was first in my whole grade for all 6 grades. Than um. I got fat :] I’m overweight now but i can still run pretty fast and pretty good endurance. I lost 10 lb last 3 weeks. I plan to lose 20 pounds more. I jog and jumprope everyday. If i lose 20 lb will that help me get faster again?

the more weight you loose the easier it will be for speed to increase. Build up slowly!!!! Don’t over tax your body if you get to sore lay off it for a day or two. eat healthier lay off sodas, juices, coffee, junk food. Eat whole grain foods and lowfat products! Good luck! do not get in to much of a hurry these things take time!!!! Muscle is more dense than fat there for it weighs more. So the more muscle you build you may see fat loss decrease!
