Is It Ok To Go On A Diet And Start Losing Weight Right Before The Baby Is Born?

I want her to start an *intense* weight loss program in the few weeks BEFORE the baby is born so it will be easier for her to lose all that fatty baggage much faster after the baby is born.
Does anyone have experience with this ? What crash diet did you use?

Wow, what a catch you are…I feel for your wife. Could you be any more shallow & arrogant? Why are you so hung up on your wife’s weight right now…she is pregnant for heaven’s sake!! Putting on weight is normal & comes with the territory. Dieting while pregnant is a NO-NO and could be harmful to your unborn child. She can worry about losing weight after the baby is born. I can’t stand ignorant men like you…I’m sure you’re in no position to be criticizing your wife’s appearance..you’re probably no hottie yourself. Get a life!!!

    Are you serious?
Umm, the last few weeks of pgcy are the most important… She needs to eat healthy and exersice as she was before.. No new diet/exercise plans should be started.. Geezzzz.. You trying to harm the baby?

As far as I know, one should start dieting and losing weight AFTER the baby is born and not BEFORE.

That is not what she should be doing. These last few weeks she will gain the most.
