I Need Some Tips On Exercise, Dieting, Losing Weight, And How Long It’ll Take, Etc.?

Hi everyone,
I’ll give you my tech specs…
Age: 15.5
Height: 5′ 9″
Weight: 127
Body Fat: 12.5%
Weight(Fat): 15.9LBS(mostly jar handles and the poochy :P )
Weight(Muscle): 111.1LBS
I want to get rid of 7LBS to 10LBS at the most, because I don’t want to get rid of too much fat, otherwise I’d have none(fat is kinda essential). I watch/do exercises/workouts that you see on youtube for muscluar enhancement for about 10 to 20 minutes a day(its been easier since I first started). I also cycle about 10MPH(at the most) on the local urban trail, which spans for 34MI, but I only go approximately 7MI(rounded off, its a bit more than that) both ways, which makes it around 14MI to 15MI… I go about 10MPH, but then I slow down a bit from time to time to keep my breath steady and relax my legs, so I go 5MPH, then I speed up again. I’m drinking more water and watching the calories I eat and burn. I eat about 2,000 to 3,000 Calories a day. I’ve given up southern Fried chicken, and a few other vices out there. I’ve never cared tooo much for deserts, so I don’t usually eat those. I don’t eat fatty meats like pork, because I just don’t like them. I sleep for about 10 hours at the most, otherwise its 8 or 9 hours.
I need to know… if I keep this up for a few weeks, or even a month, will this burn the weight that I need to get rid of to replace with muscle? I want to burn 2 to 3 pounds a week and get to about 120LBS and keep working on my muscles(abs, biceps, etc.)
I can also use some extra tips, tricks, hints, etc.
Thanks guys(and gals)… I can really use this advice(and encouragement)
PS. I know that 127 is a good amount of weight for a guy my age and height, I just need to get rid of the fat and uncover/replace it with muscle

I’m 21 years old, 5′4″, and weigh 168 lbs. I started my weightloss journey at 185 lbs. The one main thing that helps me stay motivated is keeping small, basic, goals for myself, not huge unrealistic ones. For example, when I’m out with friends, or at work (I work at Panera), and want to endulge in a pastry or a nice dinner out somewhere, I think about my goal, and how even though it would be nice to eat the yummy food, i’d regret it later, so i DON’T eat it. Same with just drinking water. I used to be a huge Dr. Pepper drinker, but now i solely drink water. And the same thing goes with working out every day or night. I set my alarm clock early every morning before work (and disabled the snooze button) just so i can get up and jog 2 miles. It’s a great feeling and very rewarding! It’s all a mind game that you have to play in your head and win. There’s going to be temptations out there wherever you go, whether it’s with food, exercising, or anything….just gotta listen to that little angel on your shoulder. BEST OF LUCK!! Just remember, you have to work hard and stay focused on your present to look/feel great in your future!!

Don’t loose weight… turn it into muscle. Any thinner you will not look healthy.
