The key for aerobic cardio is less dependent on what you do versus doing it right. As long as you are in your target heart rate zone and exercising for the appropriate amount of time, it’s working.
I think what you choose to do just depends on what you like and any health issues. I love running, but some people don’t like it. If you are going to be spending at least 3 times a week for at least 30 min each time, you don’t want to pick something that you won’t like. If you have bad knees, ankles, etc… you want to stay way from any high impact stuff… instead look at swimming, water aerobics, or a recumbant bike.

    both is good for loosing weight. running allow you to loose weight faster because your heart rate is staying at a steady paste. and make sure you work out for thirty minutes or more a day. riding bikes is good for building leg muscle.
